Our fly-in Alaska wilderness lodge is the ideal venue for your next small-group event, reunion or retreat!
Wilderness Place Lodge can accommodate a maximum group size of 18 guests in 7 private cabins. The 2200 square foot modern log lodge offers an open air living and dining area, bar area and commercial kitchen. The lodge operates mainly as an inclusive full-service fishing lodge, but is also available at certain times of the summer for group events, family reunions and corporate retreats. The lodge staff of 20 goes out of their way to accommodate every need of the group. The venue is ideal for guests of all ages, and is an exceptional destination for those that enjoy wilderness areas, peace and solitude, outdoor activities and a sense of adventure. The lodge is located on the banks of a world-class salmon and trout fishery. Daily guided fishing is included with all of our group packages. All fishing equipment, waders, etc. is included and there is no need for any prior fishing experience. Three meals daily are prepared by our professional chef team. For groups renting the lodge for their private functions, we are receptive to planning meals for your stay in advance of your trip. We are very flexible in working with the expectations and preferences of a wide diversity of guests. Let us know and we'll deliver! - Round-trip scenic float plan is included on all of our Alaska wilderness lodge packages.
- Private modern cabin(s) with full bath are included. Cabin sizes and configurations will be determined by availability and your overall group size.
- Personal daily guided fishing is included for those interested. One personal guide per 2-3 guests is standard. We do not mix/match groups so you can fish with your group members exclusively for the duration of your trip.
- All fishing rods, reels, tackle, waders, wading boots and terminal gear is included. We feature top line spin and fly fishing rods and reels and the finest lures and flies we have found to be successful for each fish species. Instruction is provided for anyone that has limited fishing experience.
- Awesome meals on and off the water! Our professional chef team of 3 caters to all of your meals on and off the water to accommodate your personalized daily itineraries. Breakfast and lunch can be served in the lodge, or prepped for you to take on the water. Dinner is a 4-course spread of culinary artistry!
- Soda, Alaska micro-brew beer and a fine selection of Pacific Northwest wines are available in the lodge and are on the house!
- Design your own menu and your own custom daily itinerary prior to your group retreat at the lodge
- The lodge is equipped with Wifi Internet, direct dial-out phone system and wireless service for Verizon customers
- Other options that can be added on to your trip package: -- Small group day raft floats with fishing and shore lunch. --Flight-seeing tours to nearby Denali Park, or Tordrillo Mountains and glaciers. --Musical Performer on one or more evenings of your stay with us. We're very receptive to other ideas of activities that may be added on both on and off the lodge property.
